Ajar: A poem

My husband, may he rest in piece, was a sometime poet.  Below is one of his works.  Enjoy.

Ajar

Pulled tight

by taut opposites

each respectable

in equally

repellent

paradigms

leaving blurred

exactitudes

to digest.

Knowing

each other

pushes

the door

ajar –

a sweet blur

played by

varied pipers,

giving it all

back.

Below, a witticism of the poet above.

Pit one self-contained logic against another and the fun begins.
